Why We Do What We Do

Empowering our future leaders is extremely important to us.

All of us are susceptible to hard times, but there is no doubt that our children and adolescence are at a greater risk.

As you know, low-income families and individuals in our community go without food, shelter, essential medical care, resources and positive guidance every day due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, mental illness, injuries, domestic violence, substance abuse, and/or divorce.

We are invested in building their self-esteem, their self-confidence, and their ability to manage personal, social and professional relationships while creating learning opportunities for them to develop new skills.
